Assistant Coach Vacancy

We are inviting applications for an Assistant Coach to join our Senior Development Staff. The Development Programme forms a crucial part of our Talent Pathway, providing players with the skills and technical knowledge to progress to the Elite level in a nurturing environment. Training weekends run alongside the Elite Programme, delivering similar tactical concepts at a pace that allows our players to excel.

The squad is run by Head Coach, Dan Osmond, and overseen by Senior Elite Head Coach, Remington Steele. This season we are building towards the World Championship Festival in Limerick, July 2020.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their coaching career.

Primary duties include assisting the Head Coach in the planning and execution of practices and skill development, recruiting and retaining quality athletes, athlete mentoring, programme administration and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.

The successful candidates will be self-motivated and possess the ability to develop talented athletes so that they are ready to progress to an Elite level. Strong interpersonal skills and high level of organisation are essential, and a focus on athlete-led environments would be an advantage.
