Reports To Director of Women’s Performance Wales Lacrosse is a small National Governing Body, supporting the development of lacrosse at all levels within Wales and for those of Welsh heritage. Responsibilities include Plan and deliver the Senior Women’s Development Programme. Liaise with specialist and support staff. Attend squad weekends. Attend National and International tournaments, where required. Budget management in conjunction with WLA Treasurer. Liaise with the Manager regarding all elements of squad administration and outward correspondence. Planning Design and deliver an annual plan including selection of appropriate tours in conjunction with the Performance Director. Establish and monitor key behaviours in line with Wales Women’s Programme, in all players. Produce clear session plans with specific aims and monitor the outcomes. Support the vision of WLA. Communication Use current feedback systems to establish good player communication and progression. Set up relevant meetings to ensure that all players are aware of expectations and requirements. Establish and maintain regular meetings with all relevant stakeholders. Collaborate with senior women’s and U19s coaching teams. Evaluation
Set objectives and KPIs to be reviewed on a quarterly basis. Evaluate and evolve continuously to ensure the programme is on track to meet agreed objectives. Communicate objectives to key stakeholders. Be a role model for coaches and programme participants on and off the field, encouraging and supporting further learning. Essential Skills/Understanding Excellent, verbal and written communication skills. Lacrosse coaching qualification. Wales Lacrosse DBS Check. First Aid for Sport. Proficient in Google suite. Commitment to ongoing learning and education and ability to share that knowledge with others. Pay/Remuneration Pay is calculated according to attendance at training weekends and out of pocket expenses are reimbursed.
