U19 World Championship Update

The Dragons World Championship campaign started with two very tough fixtures against impressive New Zealand and Japanese sides. With two very different styles of play, the ladies found it difficult to adapt and conceded the opening two matches.

The final match of the pool was against our 'local' rivals, Scotland. Having lost to our Celtic counterparts earlier this year at Home Internationals, our Dragons found their fire and pulled out a brilliant second half performance which saw them defeat the Scots 12-5.

After finishing third in their group the Dragons head in to the play off stages of the u19 World Championship against the Czech Republic.
