Wales Lacrosse is looking to recruit a Director of Development to increase the number of people engaged in lacrosse in Wales. We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who shares our passion for providing opportunities for young people to get involved in lacrosse as players, officials and coaches.
Your experience in delivering sports development activity will be important – if you have knowledge and experience of lacrosse, even better!
Primary responsibilities include:
· Lead on the design and implementation of an effective development strategy
· Build relationships with schools, clubs and universities who currently play lacrosse
· Develop opportunities for introducing lacrosse to high school age students
· Organise and run local events
The successful candidates will be solution focused with a high level of organisation. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work autonomously are essential.
This is a part time role, with the opportunity to generate income on a self-employed basis.
